First of all, welcome to our family! :o) Now you'll have to decide how you are going develop your site. The are many
ways you can work your site from plain simple to the most impressive and complex manner. First, let's start with the basics...
PASSWORDS:
You should have received a password for your account included in your Welcome Letter. Once this password has been changed through your
Control Panel, they will act as two. A System password and a Control Panel password. These are two completely different password.
First of all, the Control Panel password, is used to log into your Control Panel and manage your account based on accounting, e-mail, services,
among many others features. For complete explanation of the Control Panel please go to our
Control Panel section.
The system password is used for logging into your Telnet, FTP and Front Page. This password is significantly the most important, because
it is used for uploading, editing, and deleting your web site files. It is very important that you do not give this password to
anyone you do not trust.
Note: Once you change your system password, do not change it to something simple. Use a combination of numbers and letters,
since someone may try using a password cracker or a password brute force attack to try and figure out your password. Also do not access your
account from a public computer or another person's, since they might have password sniffers or keyboard typing recorders which might scan
your password. Always use secure connections to access your account. Please go to our
Security FAQ
for more information.
